DADA Dance Production
The history of Dada Dance Production goes further than eleven years. Our purpose is the real Hip-hop philosophy as this project has been created for the whole community, not particularly just for the execution of dance. We live in the age where passion and creativity make a huge part of our lives, whether of a young person or even a bit younger than that. We want to give you the opportunity to find yourself, to learn new things, to relax and to improve your skills at the same time. Classes & Workshops
We are dedicated to many different dance styles that are thought in the individual classes. All of those that appear in our schedule are for basic and/or advanced levels. You as a part of your new crew will have the opportunity to learn all of the styles, and you may pick the ones you want to specialize in. All the style choices depend only on you and your crew colleagues. In order to find the best time and class you are interested in, is to know your dance level and your age.
Dance Styles
Our aim in Dada Dance Production is not just teaching the technique of dance but also spreading the Hip-hop culture as a philosophy, life style and knowledge of art. Even though Hip-hop is fresh, it has a long history behind. As we know it today, it stands on four main pillars - breakdance, rapping, graffiti and DJ-ing. More importantly, we teach as many as possible dance styles that Hip-hop influenced with its techniques and moves.
New SCHOOL
Created as a more commercial and rhythmic version of Hip-hop that was not performed on streets. From a technical aspect, New style involves a lot of radial movements of the hips and feet, flexibility and isolations. It is characterized by moving specific part of body independently from the others.
FUNKY
This dance style is a fusion of traditional jazz with other dance styles. In Hip-hop the techniques of jazz are fused with Hip-hop moves such as break, popping and locking.
HOUSE DANCE
House dance is about freedom, attitude and celebration. It is characterized by footwork, lofting and jacking. In the end of the 80s a Hip-hop house dance derived from it and the dancers fused the House dance roots with Hip-hop movements and a different, more poppy attitude.
BREAKIN'/B-BOYING
As a first hip hip dance style, it is one of the four main pillars of Hip-hop. Breakdance is characterized by footwork-oriented steps, posing, power moves and complex acrobatics. This dance styles is often incorporated to other dance styles as an ongoing phenomenon.
